Bone and bone are you.

Because you are human,

no human can be stranger.

     Your inner life, just as

canny to each as to all,

yet you are infernal

to each.

               More, you act

     upon others as if you

know that others know

     you act.

               Because all

sapien share

          this one abandon,

you can either rejoice

in this

          other's pain or weep

               out that pain.

You join abba, in ecstasis,

and not in dialectics

     alone.
