Two Legs

Two Legs

When he loves Lilith, he knows
différence. Taller, leaner, head high,

she never bows to him who can
only crouch. She's not first of her

kind, nor last, as long as litters
thrive. She sways others. Their nods

match her waves and she swells.
Coddling, he cuddles her belly —she

cradles him. He pampers her well.
Also all hands only help: His old pal,

one night, tries to take her, but her
yowl wakes everyone.
