Two Legs
Two Legs
When he loves her, he knows she's
different. Taller, leaner, head high,
she never bows to him who can
only crouch. She's not first of her
kind, nor last, as long as litters
thrive. She sways others. Their nods
match her waves and she swells.
Cuddling her belly cradles him. She
coddles him. He pampers her as well.
Also all hands only help: His old pal,
one night, tries to take her, but her
yowl wakes everyone.
