rhododendron wilt

   look out     ground

level window     melting

   shadows     on snow

or are they     shadows

   in the right     eye

   pine     needles

   arise     from drift

melting     one twig

   sticking     straight up

feel as though     it's

   point     ing at some one

or for some     one to see

               in the sky

so blue     and clear

   fast     pines' branches
