Mucker
Mucker
Like a shout in the street—
My mind proceeds from primordial
underpinning that it hasn't bothered
to make, instead allows me to pour
my experience over this bottom layer.
If I'm thrown into a pigsty, I experience
all of my senses at the same time
while extricating myself from the slop.
No countermanding orders are given
to my nature thus far, so I must be all
and draw the totality from my tiny
heart too, as it flickers, beats, and must
display my vigorous nonsense, passion.
If my head's dunked into a toilet,
the swirling flush will try to transfer
all of my senses at the same time.
When trying to be the tackler of another
mucker and not presenter of that
tackling itself, even though my result
may not seem to a witness to be tackling,
I must become that tackle and draw
the totality out of our bruised hearts.
